Advisors Plus Plastic Delay Cardholder Communication Assistance

Given the recent unprecedented challenges with plastic card production and shipping, Advisors Plus has designed a free turnkey communication approach to assist financial institutions with timely and effective messages regarding card delays and subsequent issuance.We have created two options to help you proactively communicate with cardholders.

Turnkey Communications: How It Works

On a daily basis, this program will look at the most updated list of delayed plastics to determine who needs to receive an initial communication regarding the delay. If the affected account has an email address on file, an email message alerting them of the delay will be sent. In a similar way, we will review every week to determine if the card is identified to be in production. If not, a reminder email will be generated until the plastic is issued, and a final email notification will be sent to keep the cardholder informed and vigilant for card activation upon arrival.


Please note, due to improvements in card embossing and shipping times, direct mailing has been paused. At this time letters will not be sent as the card will already be on its way and there is no value in receiving an alert and the card simultaneously. Similarly, if an email cannot be delivered or hard-bounces, the cardholder will not be sent a letter for the same reason.
